Hi! Welcome to my website. I am Tian Xintong Kenneth, an MPhil-PhD student in Global Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I began my PhD studies at CUHK(SZ) in 2023. Previously, I received a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Coimbra in 2019 and a BA in Portuguese Language and Literature from Beijing International Studies University in 2017.
My research is primarily method-driven, emphasizing the use of quantitative analysis and coding for causal inference. While my research topics are diverse, I am currently focused on comparative politics and text-as-data methods.
From 2019 to 2023, I was a lecturer in Portuguese at Beijing International Studies University and served as the Dean of the Division of Portuguese Language from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, I contributed as a test maker for CATTI-Portuguese (2021-2023) and am an examiner for the Oral Session of CAPLE Exams.
